About the Movie
Chatha Pacha: The Ring of Rowdies is a high-octane action comedy set in the heart of Fort Kochi. The film follows three brothers and a group of local misfits who decide to start an amateur, WWE-inspired underground wrestling promotion called "Friday Fight Night." What begins as a creative hustle to escape their mundane lives soon spirals into a chaotic world of masks, rivalries, and ego clashes. It is recognized as India's first cinematic tribute to the "Attitude Era" of pro-wrestling, blending nostalgic wrestling moves with rooted Kerala culture.
About the Cast
The film features a dynamic ensemble lead by Arjun Ashokan as Savio "Loco" Lobo and Roshan Mathew as Vetrivel "Vetri" Lobo. They are supported by Vishak Nair and debutant Ishan Shoukath. Adding veteran weight to the story are Siddique and Mahesh Manjrekar, while Lakshmi Menon plays a pivotal female lead. A major highlight is the explosive cameo appearance by megastar Mammootty, which has become a talking point among fans.
Message of the Movie
The movie delivers a strong message about brotherhood, redemption, and the courage to follow one's passion despite social ridicule. It highlights that the "real fights" often happen outside the ring, and standing together as a family is the ultimate victory against life's challenges.
Family & Friends Warning: This movie is rated U/A. It is suitable for family and friends; however, parental guidance is advised for younger children due to stylized wrestling violence and intense action sequences.
